HOMECOMING: GRAND RIVER HEALTH WELCOMES DR. AL SALIMAN TO THE INTERNAL MEDICINE TEAM

June 15, 2018, Rifle, Colo.: It is with great pleasure that Grand River Health in Rifle announces the addition of Dr. Al Saliman to Grand River’s expanding Primary Care team.
Dr. Saliman has built a strong, local reputation for his compassion, experience, and dedication to his patients. He received his medical degree in 1983 from the University of Colorado, School of Medicine in Boulder. He later completed his internship and residency at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s in Denver. Dr. Saliman began his practice with Glenwood Medical Associates in 1986, where he practiced Internal Medicine. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Saliman has served as Chief Medical Officer in both Glenwood Springs and Montrose and currently serves as the Medical Director for the Community Care Alliance.
“Dr. Saliman brings another dimension in the scope and growth of our Primary Care team. We are elated that he has decided to make Grand River Health his new home” says Dr. Kevin Coleman, Grand River Health’s Chief Medical Director.
When asked what he loves most about practicing medicine in this area he responds, “My favorite part of practicing medicine is centered around getting to know my patients. And to give my patients what they truly want…time.”
