DESCRIPTION:Online registration is closed. In-person registration is available at the Health Fair on the day of the event. \nAvailable Blood Screenings*: \n\nComprehensive Metabolic Blood Chemistry Panel $45\nIncludes: Sodium\, Potassium\, Chloride\, CO2\, Glucose\, BUN\, Creatinine\, Phosphorous\, AST\, Bilirubin\, Protein\, Albumin\, Calcium\, Lipid Panel (Cholesterol\, Triglycerides\, HDL\, LDL\, and Heart Disease Risk Ratio)\, Iron Deficiency\, Uric Acid\, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone \n\nProstate Specific Antigen (PSA) $50\n(Men Only) This screening is recommended for males 40 and older with a family history of prostate cancer\, or all males ages 50 to 75. PSA is a blood screening that measures a protein that is only produced by the male prostate gland.Elevations of PSA may occur in men with non-cancerous prostate diseases or prostate cancer. A normal PSA level does not entirely exclude the possibility of prostate cancer.A digital rectal exam (DRE) is strongly encouraged in conjunction with a PSA screening. \n\nHemoglobin A1c $35\nA blood screening that measures your average blood sugar control for the past 2 to 3 months. The results give you a good idea of whether or not you are at risk for diabetes. For people with diabetes it indicates how well your diabetes treatment plan is working. \n\nBlood Count Screening $35\nGood for checking for anemia\, infections\, white and red blood cell count and clotting ability. \n\nVitamin B12 $30\nVitamin B12 is important to produce DNA as well as to maintain proper functioning in your nervous system. This is an important vitamin for healthy immune function. \n\nVitamin D $60\nColon Cancer Screening Kit $40\nThis take-home/mail-in kit checks for blood in the stool.\nPLEASE NOTE: This test is not appropriate if you have a family history of colon cancer\, active symptoms including blood in the stool or a history of polyps. \n\nBlood Type $30\nDiabetic Retinopathy Exam $25\nScreening for Diabetes-Related Retinopathy with Topcon Camera. Early detection and treatment can reduce your risk of diabetes-related retinopathy. Images are captured and sent to ophthalmologist.
