Angela is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She completed her Master of Nursing degree from Walden University and is experienced in treating a wide range of mental and behavioral health conditions in children, adolescents, and adults. Angela’s nursing career has prepared her to provide excellent and comprehensive care over the past 10 years. She has gained a variety of experience working in mental health, med/surg, intensive critical care, college nursing instructor, and home health assessments.
Angela strives to improve each individual’s mental health, while guarding against a negative stigma. She nurtures patients to overcome barriers, using evidence-based solutions, and believes early identification and treatment is key for successful recovery. Angela uses a collaborative approach, if available, to develop a treatment plan which includes the patient, family, therapist, and provider to seek the best outcome.
