We would like to welcome you to Grand River Hospital and Medical Center. We promise to do everything we can so you or your loved ones visit is as comfortable as it can be. We are more than just a medical facility, and we look forward to showing you all we have to offer.
If you have a loved one staying with us, you don’t have to worry about your comfort or theirs. If you come to see a patient in one of our rooms, we will offer you a guest tray so you can eat meals with them and will make arrangements if you’d like to stay the night. There are also comfortable waiting rooms for you to enjoy. We’re here to make your stay as pleasant as possible, so anything you need, just ask.
We believe that seeing family and friends during a hospital stay is an important part of the patient’s overall recovery. For this reason, visitors can come any time, day or night, and overnight stays can be arranged by the nursing staff depending on patient volumes.
We love children and small infants and they are welcome in the Acute Care Unit, but we advise their parents to be aware that since we are in a hospital, they may be exposed to communicable diseases.
