**Dr. Cala is accepting new patients**
Dr. Cala received her BS of Science in Chemistry from Stevenson University in Maryland and Doctor of Medicine from American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Antigua West Indies. Most recently Dr. Cala comes to Grand River Health Clinic West from University of Arizona Medical Center where she did her Family Medicine residency and completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Cala worked in Urgent Care and Sports Medicine at Banner Health in Arizona. She is also a Major in the Individual Ready Reserve for the US Army where she served as a Flight Surgeon.
Dr. Cala grew up in rural Maryland on a dairy farm and enjoys small town life. She lives in the Parachute area with her husband and dogs. Her interests span a wide variety of activities involving the outdoors including hiking with her dogs, mountain biking, and running. Understanding the importance of physical activity, her goal is to help active people return to their active lifestyles as quickly and safely as possible.
