Now Hiring: Revenue Cycle Director

JOB PURPOSE:  To improve the health and well being of our communities.

BASIC FUNCTION: The focus of this position is on the revenue cycle as a whole, and is accountable for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of all aspects of the revenue cycle, including pre-authorization, scheduling, admitting/registration, charge capture, coding, chargemaster optimization, billing, collections, billing grievances, and payer relations. 

This position reports to the CFO, and directly supervises the scheduling, admitting/registration, and patient financial services supervisors.  In addition, this position acts as an advisor to the HIMS, Information Technology, Revenue Integrity, and Clinical Departments to ensure effective revenue cycle practices.  This position develops action plans, policies, and procedures, in concert with the departments named above, to ensure that each area within the revenue cycle is functioning in a way to maximize reimbursement (within all regulatory requirements), while also ensuring a world-class patient experience to those who come to Grand River Health.
