She began her career in psychiatry working as a psychiatric nurse at Seton Shoal Creek Psychiatric Hospital in Austin, TX. She also worked in the Adolescent Unit and in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) while at Seton.
After moving to Houston after becoming engaged she worked at The Menninger Clinic (TMC) for approximately eight years. The Menninger Clinic is established as one of the top psychiatric hospitals in the nation. Most of her time at TMC was spent working on the Adolescent Unit where she was promoted to Charge Nurse. While working at TMC, she obtained her Master’s degree and specialized as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After graduation from Texas Tech University in 2019, she immediately obtained her ANCC board certification in psychiatry and worked in out-patient and partial hospitalization settings. Mood disorders and anxiety disorders have been her primary focus and she enjoys working with adolescent and adult populations.
Angela lives with her husband, Tim, an artist and designer. Originally from England, he has lived in the states for so many years that his personality is more of a hybrid between the two countries. It was actually Tim’s love of Colorado that reintroduced her to its beauty in adulthood and led them to move here. They share their house with their fur babies, whom they love dearly and spoil as much as possible.
