Christina Senechal is a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist.
Christina grew up in Buxton, Maine, a town most famous for being the setting of the move Shawshank Redemption. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Maine.
Christina fell in love with Colorado after visiting for a wedding with her boyfriend, who is now her husband. In 2013 she and her husband moved to Carbondale and eventually ended up in Rifle. She appreciates the intimacy she gets from working in rural medicine, the ability to know her patients and being a part of their community. She would like her patients to know that she is ready to accept you wherever you are on your healing journey and will support you by listening and helping you find the strength to reach your own personal goals. She is certified as a breast cancer rehabilitation specialist.
When not working, Christina is an avid knitter and spins her own wool yarn. She enjoys gardening and is an active member of the Colorado Native Plant Society. She and her husband are currently working to restore a 1984 U-Haul Camper, so they can enjoy camping with their daughter in Colorado’s great outdoors.
