Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation are physician-referred and clinically-supervised prevention programs designed for your health needs and future goals.  These programs are staffed by exercise physiologists, respiratory therapists, dietitian/nutritionists and others; and your care is directed with medical oversight. 

A comprehensive rehabilitation program includes education, exercise, nutrition and stress management counseling, and support. 

Diagnoses treated include:

  • Heart attack
  • Angioplasty with or without stent
  • Heart/lung surgery
  • Systolic heart failure
  • Stable angina
  • Claudication (leg pain from narrowed arteries)
  • COPD
  • Asthma
  • Other chronic lung conditions
