Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation are physician-referred and clinically-supervised prevention programs designed for your health needs and future goals. These programs are staffed by exercise physiologists, respiratory therapists, dietitian/nutritionists and others; and your care is directed with medical oversight.
A comprehensive rehabilitation program includes education, exercise, nutrition and stress management counseling, and support.
Diagnoses treated include:
- Heart attack
- Angioplasty with or without stent
- Heart/lung surgery
- Systolic heart failure
- Stable angina
- Claudication (leg pain from narrowed arteries)
- Other chronic lung conditions
