CAAS stands for “Certified Application Assistance Site.” This means our organization is a community resource that can now assist community members to apply for state medical benefits such as Medicaid, and CHP Plus programs for children.
Please note: Grand River Health is only authorized to help with medical Medicaid applications.
Grand River Hospital has three certified CAAS technicians:
- Jennifer Haywood is located at the Patient Financial Services building located at 1657 Enterprise Ct. Rifle, CO. 81650. Her phone number is 970.625.6621.
- David Moreno (Spanish speaking) is located in our patient wing across from the gift shop on our main hospital campus. His phone number is 970.440.4147.
- Renee Farris is also certified and can be reached at 970.625.4216.

More than 700,000 Coloradans are without health insurance and, as a result, growing numbers are facing difficulties in paying for medical care.
Grand River Health offers uninsured patients a 50% discount if services are paid in full at the time of registration. Grand River Health also offers recurring monthly credit card payments to help ease the financial burden.
