As COVID-19 vaccine begins to make its way across the country, Grand River Health has vaccinated over 1,000 individuals which include community members 70 years of age and older, as well as Grand River Health Care Center residents, first responders and hospital staff.

Above are commemorated images of Grand River Health staff receiving the first round of vaccine on December 17th, 2020 and what will surely be remembered as an historic day.

Currently, if you are 70 years of age and over, you may schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine on Wednesdays after 1:00pm for the following Friday. This is to ensure availability of vaccine within the hospital.

We look forward to providing more and more community members with the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as it continues to be available.
