Over the past several years, Grand River Health has been proud to offer telehealth services as part of our commitment to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Many of you have taken advantage of these services, and we are grateful for the opportunity to provide care in a way that is accessible, convenient, and responsive to your needs.
We are writing to inform you that changes to federal telehealth policies are currently expected to take effect after September 30, 2025. At this time, the full impact of these changes is still unclear, and we are closely monitoring updates and guidance from relevant agencies.
What we do know is that these upcoming changes may affect the availability and format of telehealth services scheduled on or after October 1, 2025. Grand River Health is actively evaluating how these developments may influence our telehealth offerings and exploring options to ensure we can continue to serve our patients with the highest quality care, whether in person or virtually.
We understand that this may pose challenges for some members of our community. Please know that our leadership and care teams are working diligently to assess the situation and determine the best path forward.
