Originally from Washington State, Jessica (Jessi) moved to Colorado to attend Colorado Mesa University where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Social Work. Captivated by the beauty of the area and the welcoming community, she decided to make it her home. Jessi loves the small-town feel of Rifle and the strong sense of connection it offers.
Her approach to mental health is client-centered, and she believes in showing up with empathy and curiosity in every interaction. Jessi is passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. Jessi has experience in roles that provide therapeutic support to at-risk youth, children and adults with disabilities and complex family systems. She also works with folks with anxiety, depression and trauma-related concerns. Her goal is to help clients feel seen, heard and esteemed while also gaining insight and tools to manage various challenges.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, Zumba, gardening, and spending time with her two cats and an energetic terrier mix dog. She also likes playing video games and spending quality time with family.
