Natural Remedies

    • Honey and Lemon
Mix honey and lemon juice in warm water to soothe your throat and help with coughing. Honey fights germs and lemon gives you vitamin C.
    • Herbal Teas
Drinking teas like chamomile, peppermint or ginger can help with a sore throat and stuffy nose.
    • Saltwater Gargle
Gargling warm salt water can ease throat pain and swelling.

Modern Remedies

  1. Over-the-Counter Medicines
    • Decongestants help clear a stuffy nose.
    • Antihistamines stop a runny nose and sneezing.
    • Cough suppressants calm your cough.
    • Expectorants thin mucus, making it easier to cough up.
  1. Humidifiers
Humidifiers add moisture to the air, which helps ease stuffy noses and dry throats.
  2. Nasal Irrigation
Using a saline spray or neti pot can flush out mucus from your nose.
