Family Medicine Clinic Update

As our clinics continue to grow to meet our communities’ needs, we would like to share several important updates to our Family Medicine teams, including a well-deserved retirement and exciting provider transitions.

Honoring a Decade of Dedicated Service

After more than a decade of providing care at Clinic West, Tami Griffith, FNP-C/BC, has retired. Tami has been a trusted provider for countless patients and families, and her dedication to the Clinic West community has made a lasting impact. We are grateful for her years of service and wish her all the best in a happy and well-earned retirement.

Welcoming New Providers to Clinic West

Clinic West is excited to welcome several new providers who joined the team in 2025, further strengthening access to family medicine services in Battlement Mesa:

• Dr. David Olsen brings a broad range of experience and a patient-centered approach to primary care.
• Shelby Adler, PA-C joins the team with a strong focus on comprehensive family medicine and preventive care.
• Lynda Steinbach, FNP-C has relocated her practice from Rifle to Clinic West as of January, continuing to care for patients in a familiar and convenient setting.

These additions ensure Clinic West remains well-staffed and equipped to meet the growing needs of the community.

Strengthening the Rifle Family Medicine Team

At our Rifle location, Dr. Vargas will now be seeing patients full time, increasing appointment availability and continuity of care. He is joined by Dr. Lucy Budde, the newest addition to the Rifle Family Medicine team, specializing in functional and longevity medicine.

Together, these providers expand access to primary care services and reinforce our commitment to timely, personalized care for patients in the Rifle area.
