Make sure you choose the right plan for you.
Grand River Health wants to help Medicare patients to be better informed when choosing a plan for 2026.
Both patients and health systems have struggled with Medicare Advantage plans that affect patient care and hospital operations. Issues include long waits for authorizations, denial of medically necessary services, and delays in payments.
Payment delays or denials after services have been rendered can adversely affect you as well as your local hospital. In the rural communities like ours, this is an added burden to a growing list of financial pressures. This landscape has led to numerous health systems across the country dropping Medicare Advantage plans in 2026, resulting in patients being referred to services hours away or even in other states.
When researching options that are best for you and your family, check to make sure Grand River Health is in-network.
